  •  Insurance

Many insurance companies will reimburse treatments for pain-related conditions. TCM Health Centers are generally able to accept insurance from patients in the categories listed below. If you have Health Partners insurance, an open claim with your car insurance, or worker's compensation, it is worthwhile to see if your acupuncture treatments can be covered.

Health Partners

Most members can self-refer for twelve acupuncture visits in a year, although coverage is generally confined to musculo-skeletal problems such as back or joint pain, headaches, menstrual or menopausal problems, and nausea. Please call HP Member Services beforehand to verify your acupuncture benefits.

Car Insurance

If your claim is open and you are still seeking and receiving medical treatment related to your accident, there is a good chance that your car insurance company will cover your acupuncture treatments. Please give your claim information to your acupuncture provider to have your claim verified.

Worker's Compensation

Any request for acupuncture treatments through worker's compensation benefits must be specifically authorized by your case worker or worker's compensation administration company. Please provide this information at the time the first appointment is made.
